Inacraft is a rare opportunity to witness the diversity of craft throughout the land of Indonesia. A marketplace providing wide range of choice from Sabang to Merauke. However, what I’ll be showing you here would be focused on my excitement about finding vintage and shabby chic goods.
Held annually, this year’s theme was “The Splendour of Minangkabau”. For Rp 25k you could enjoy the original music and performance from different places in West Sumatera, fashion show, product demo and many more. The artists and the crafter have successfully transformed traditional craft into modern pieces. From a plain batik purse or a simple mail box to a fancy yet adorable piece of art.
You could find almost anything form housewares, gifts, fashion products and jewelry, but all shabby chic goods were my favorite. One rule of visiting Inacraft : bring enough cash or save enough money. If not, then grow enough…
