Ginger cookies



I love ginger tea, especially in winter. And what fits better to it than ginger cookies (?). They are easy to make and you can keep them in a box for a long time. So what do you need?

  • 100g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 300g flour
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 spoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • tiny bit of salt
  • cinnamon (optional)

What to do?

Preheat the oven 170C (fan). Line one baking tray with a piece of baking paper.

Start with butter, sugar and eggs and mix it well into a smooth mixture. Add pinch of salt, ginger, honey and then flour and baking powder. Mix properly until you have a nice and thicker dough.
